On Friday 15th November the outcomes of the Tapas workshops where exhibited at the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo. The event was held in the embassy's library. In it, Luis Úrculo and Miguel Angel de la Cruz explained to the attendees what each of the workshops consisted of.

On Wednesday 13th November the gastronomy workshop Tapa as Haiku opened at the Hattori Nutrition College in Tokyo. Chef Miguel Ángel de la Cruz explained this modern Spanish custom and made some of his best tapas in front of the participants.

Opening of the design workshop Tapa as Haiku at the Embassy of Spain in Tokyo

On Tuesday 12th November, the design workshop Tapa as Haiku opened at the Embassy of Spain in Tokyo. The workshop lasted three days during which the participants considered and worked on how to condense a story in an exclusively visual format. The narrative, brief in itself, needs to be reduced to just 15 seconds, the time the taste of a tapa stays in our mouths.

On Sunday 27th October, the exhibition Tapas. Spanish Design for Food was introduced at the TDW, together with the tapas workshops to be held as the exhibition is relocated at the Spanish Embassy.
